Rem II voted 2025 Race of the Year!
Paddlers present at the annual banquet selected the Rem II as the race they most enjoyed in 2025.
The Remington II is a 6 mile downstream race and tour on the Oswegatchie River from Rensselaer Falls to Heuvelton, NY. The course is primarily flatwater, however there are two short sets of Class I rapids which may be run or portaged depending on the water level. Following the awards ceremony many paddlers choose to paddle back upstream to the starting line.
