Collegiate Points Series

The New York Paddlesports Racing Association is pleased to announce the 2025 Collegiate Points Series. Collegiate canoe racers have been showing up in greater numbers the last few years, and we are taking this opportunity to provide an increased level of competition.

Three races will be a part of the inaugural point series:
Students racing in a C4 Stock canoe at these races will accrue points for their school.
  • First place Collegiate will get 15 points, second place will get 14, ect.
  • The top three boats from each school will be scored.
  • Full men's C4s will only receive half the points they would otherwise be assigned. Mixed and women's boats will receive full points.
  • Collegiate canoes will NOT have a seperate starting line, but will be competing against everyone in the C4 Stock Class.
The Adirondack Canoe Classic will have a scaled scoring system each day, with points rounding down. For instance, a team that finished first on day one and two, and second on day three, would earn 14 points for their school at the Adirondack Canoe Classic.

Awards will be given for the top three college teams at each race, and a Championship Cup will be presented to the winning school following the Seneca Monster.

If your school would like to compete, but does not have access to equipment, please see our Contact Us page and we will connect you with resources.
