BluMouLA-BuFuRa, the Prettiest Darn Race in America, offers 14, 7, and 1.5 mile courses amid spectacular scenery.

Rules / notes

MANDTORY BOAT INSPECTION for aquatic invasive species- all boats must be inspected prior to launching. A sticker will be placed on the left stern of boats that pass. Boats launched without a sticker will be ineligible to race. Please arrive with your boat clean, drained, and dry. If you have any doubts, please stop at a boat wash station on the way. Registration and Race Times

• 8:30-9:45 MANDTORY boat inspection
• 8:30-9:45 check-in outside the fire station across from beach for race day entries, number pickup, and BluMouLA-BuFuRa racing swag (while it lasts)
• 10:00 captains' meeting
• 10:30 mass start for 14 and 7 mile races
• 10:32 mass start for 1.5 mile race
• 2:15 awards/prize table

Entry Fees

Adults-$25 pre-registered, $35 race day (or skip the BluMouLA-BuFuRa hat and save $10).
Kids 11 and under- $15 pre-registered, $25 race day.

Directions

Go to the junction of routes 28, 28N and 30 in the central Adirondacks. The race site is at Blue Mountain Lake Town Beach, 2/10 mile west of the junction of NY on route 28
