Saturday

Madrid Mile is a one mile C-1 Pro sprint race.

C-1 Pro race is 9 miles including a 1/4 mile portage around the Madrid dam.

C-1/K-1 Amateur Marathon, a NYPRA points race, is 9 miles and includes a 1/4 mile portage around the Madrid dam.

Recreational Races are 3 miles in length and upstream of the Madrid dam, circling an island at 1.5 miles, and then returning to the start/finish line.

Sunday

C-2 Pro race is 16 miles and includes a 1/4 mile portage around the Madrid dam.

Amateur Marathon race is 13 miles and includes a 1/4 mile portage around the Madrid dam.

Recreational Races are 6 miles in length and upstream of the Madrid dam.

Rules / notes

Camping is allowed at the park on Saturday night and race directors serve a pasta dinner.

On-line registration available, but not required.

Onsite registration opens at 9am Saturday and 8am Sunday.

• SLVP Member $25

• Wounded Warrior $Free

• Weekend rate: 1st race regular fee, 2nd race $10/paddler
