About

The Remington II is a 6 mile downstream race and tour on the Oswegatchie River from Rensselaer Falls to Heuvelton, NY. The course is primarily flatwater, however there are two short sets of Class I rapids which may be run or portaged depending on the water level. Following the awards ceremony many paddlers choose to paddle back upstream to the starting line.

Rules / notes

Launch is on West Front Street, Rensselaer Falls, NY. Look for the St. Lawrence Valley Paddlers banner!

• Check-in: begins at 9 a.m.
• Race and Tour Start Times
• Recreational race class and tour 10 a.m.
• Racing class 10:10 a.m.

SLVP encourages pre-registration. 
C-1/C-2, K-1/K-2 & SUP - Add $5 for race day registrations, except for students!
