About
After an incredible inaugural year in 2025 where paddlers carved their own Iliad on the tides between Athens and Troy. We’re excited to announce the next evolution of the Trojan Paddling Race. In 2026, the odyssey returns. And this time, it’s 21 epic miles, all ending in the heart of Athens, NY.
The Hudson River is a tidal estuary, and in true warrior fashion, this race adapts to the elements. Start locations will vary based on predicted winds and tide conditions, ensuring a fast, safe, and fair down-river run for every competitor. Where the race begins may shift—but the finish will be the same: Athens, NY
